Leicester Tigers are deeply saddened to learn of the death of club solicitor Neil Head.

Neil, joint managing partner of Leicester-based solicitors Josiah Hincks, had a long association with the club and its players.

Tigers chairman Peter Tom CBE led the club's tributes to Neil, who died on New Year’s Day after a short illness, aged just 50.

Peter said: “Neil was a valued and important member of the team behind the scenes at Leicester Tigers.

“He was a great supporter of the Tigers and involved in many of the club’s major projects, together with conducting regular legal business on our behalf.

“Neil was also a good friend of so many people at Leicester Tigers among the Board of directors, management team, staff, players and supporters.

“He will be greatly missed and we pass on our sincerest condolences to his wife Jayne, sons Alex and James, and to all of his family, friends and colleagues.”
