Ending the year with a Bang!

Figure image
Leicester Tigers won 17-12 in a close call game against Gloucester, which saw Anthony Allen score his first try of the season. Gloucester certainly didn't rain on our parade and Leicester Tigers sit third in the Aviva Premiership table.

The JTC area was in full bloom before the game against Gloucester. We had lots of New Year themed arts & crafts to bring in 2013, as well as video games, floor games and of course the Crusha milkshake bar, where Wessel Joost and Michael Noone served up a treat and answered your questions. We also had an unexpected visit by none other than Thomas ‘The Tank Engine ’ Waldrom.

Our lucky mascot who was picked out by Wessel Joost was Albie Kingsbury. Make sure you enter  for your chance to run out onto the Welford Road pitch with your Leicester Tigers club captain. All you have to do is write down your name at the JTC reception and you can even double your chances by downloading a mascot entry form the next Splat that will be sent out the Wednesday before the next home game.

There are even more chances for you to step onto the pitch by becoming a ‘Tiger Cub’. All you have to do is email a picture of yourself, followed by your name, age and contact details to [email protected]  before Friday 18th January. If you haven’t been successful with that, don’t forget you can write down your name at the JTC reception when you sign in, and the last lucky cubs will be picked out by players making their guest apperance, then you’ll be kitted out in ‘Mini Welford’ outfits.
On Sunday January 20, 3pm kick-off  Leicester Tigers will be up against fellow Europenan giants Toulouse. The JTC area will be open from 1pm. We’ll have our resident face painter, as well as lots of arts & crafts and games to stick your teeth into. Not literally. Make sure you check back on the Friday before the game to find out which players will be making a special apperance in the JTC VIP area and get your thinking cap on ready to ask some questions.

All members are welcome to come down to the JTC VIP Area. If you are not a member of the Junior Tigers Club yet, sign up at the VIP area or by clicking on this link http://www.leicestertigers.com/fans/jtc/join.php  and rejister.
