Thomas Waldrom has been named to play in the back row alongside Steve Mafi and Julian Salvi in the only alteration to the team that started last weekend’s draw against the Ospreys in Round 5, with Jordan Crane selected among the replacements.
Louis Deacon will captain the Tigers team in front of a 24,000 capacity crowd at Welford Road, while tighthead prop Dan Cole makes his 100th appearance for the club since his debut in 2007.
George Chuter and Graham Kitchener are called up among the replacements after missing the match against the Ospreys.
