Let's build on Scotland win, says Ben Youngs

Ben Youngs says England have to "back up" last weekend's Calcutta Cup victory when they travel to Dublin to take on Ireland on Sunday.

Youngs was joined by Tigers teammates Dan Cole, Geoff Parling and brother Tom Youngs in the starting XV that beat Scotland 38-18 at Twickenham, while Toby Flood made an impact from the bench.

England name their side to face Ireland on Friday morning with Manu Tuilagi in the mix after recovering from an ankle injury.

And Youngs says the team will be determined to make an impact in their first Six Nations fixture on the road.

“We’ve had five games at home now and it’s a big challenge going away to the Aviva stadium,” he says. “Over the years Ireland have been a tremendous side and if you look at Brian O’Driscoll, Sean O’Brien and guys like that, there’s class throughout their squad. It’s a great challenge and we’re really looking forward to it.

“It was a great start for us in the Six Nations but it’s now backing it up and being able to do that away from home.”
