Toulon confirmed as Heineken Cup venue

It has been confirmed that Toulon will stage their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leicester Tigers on their home ground at the Stade Félix Mayol on Sunday, April 7.

The French club have satisfied European Rugby Cup’s tournament regulations by increasing their stadium capacity to more than the required 15,000 for a Heineken Cup quarter-final.

Leicester Tigers head to France for the club’s 11th Heineken Cup quarter-final.

Harlequins have also complied with the minimum requirement by boosting the capacity of the Twickenham Stoop for their tie against Munster, meaning all venues are now confirmed.

Saturday, April 6: ASM Clermont Auvergne v Montpellier (Stade Marcel Michelin 4.40pm), Saracens v Ulster Rugby (Twickenham Stadium 6.30pm)
Sunday, April 7: Harlequins v Munster Rugby (Twickenham Stoop 2.00pm), Toulon v Leicester Tigers (Stade Félix Mayol 5.30pm)

Matches to be played on weekend of April 26/27/28
The winner of the first-named quarter-final match in each semi-final pairing will have home country advantage.
Semi-final 1: Saracens or Ulster Rugby v Toulon or Leicester Tigers
Semi-final 2: ASM Clermont Auvergne or Montpellier v Harlequins or Munster Rugby
