Leicester Tigers Academy duo Harry Wells and Henry Purdy will hope to play their part in a winner-takes-all clash with Wales next weekend after another victory for England Under-20s.

Back-rower Wells started Friday’s 52-7 victory over Italy at Northampton’s Franklin’s Gardens, with wing Purdy used as a second-half replacement.

Defending Six Nations champions England never looked too troubled and wrapped up victory with tries from Jack Nowell (2), Sam Hill, Callum Braley, Tom Stephenson and two penalty tries, plus 17 points kicked by Henry Slade.

Tigers prop Tiziano Pasquali started the game in the Italian front row.
