We’re giving our Junior Tigers the chance to takeover behind the scenes for the Aviva Premiership clash with London Wasps.
It will be the second Junior Tigers Club Takeover, following last season’s hugely successful event for the visit of Gloucester Rugby.
We’re looking for a matchday announcer, a match reporter and a billboard designer plus two LTTV interviewers, 10 Tigers cubs, a matchday mascot and two mini mascots to help Welford in his matchday duties.
Junior Tigers who visited the JTC VIP Area at our last home game had the chance to enter competitions to be our LTTV interviewers for the day and to design a giant poster for the Wasps clash. The winning poster will be displayed on the billboard in Aylestone Road. We’ll be announcing the winners shortly.
Now we’re giving JTC members the chance to be a mini Welford for the day and help our club mascot in his matchday duties. Two places are up for grabs.
Enter by drawing a picture of you with Welford and emailing it to him at [email protected] or by sending it to Welford, JTC Takeover Day, Aylestone Road, Leicester, LE2 7TR by midday on Monday, March 25.
We’re also giving our Junior Tigers the chance to be a matchday reporter and write on the game for the Tigers club website. The prize includes going behind the scenes in the Welford Road press room before and after the game, watching the action from the press box and having a match report published on the club website.
To enter, simply send Welford a match report. It could be of your favourite Tigers match, a school fixture or one of the recent Six Nations games. Email your report to [email protected] or send it to Welford, JTC Takeover Day, Aylestone Road, Leicester, LE2 7TR by midday on Monday, March 25.
