Tom Youngs signs in at Tigers Rugby Camp

Tom Youngs took time out from preparing for Sunday's Heineken Cup quarter-final in Toulon with a visit to the Tigers Rugby Camp at Loughborough Grammar School.

Tigers and England hooker Youngs signed autographs, posed for photos and took part in a Q&A at the camp when he passed on some expert tips.

More than 70 young players enjoyed the camp, despite the cold weather, and improved their skills with the help of Tigers coaches. Tigers coaches also ran a Rugby Camp at Mount St. Mary’s College at Spinkhill, Derbyshire, near Sheffield.

Boris Stankovich and Matt Cornwell will visit the five-day Tigers Rugby Camp at Spalding RFC next week.

Stankovich, who has made more than 100 first team appearances for Tigers, and Cornwell, who came up through the Academy and has made 46 appearances for his home-town club as well as playing for Northampton, Exeter and Mogliano in Italy will take part in a question and answer session and to talk about life as a professional rugby player.

Tigers Rugby Camps are supported by energy efficiency specialists Mark Group and open to all players from the under-9 to under-16 age groups, girls and boys.

All players will receive top-quality coaching, a Leicester Tigers match ticket, a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball, drinks bottle and free membership to the Crusha Cru.

Places on the Spalding camp are still available. To book a place, click here or contact the ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2).

The rest of this year's Rugby Camps programme is taking shape, with masterclasses, tag and four and five-day events spread across the Tigers region featuring top-class coaching and a hot meal each day.
