Presentations will be held at the Awards Night at Welford Road on Tuesday, April 30 in the company of the full Tigers squad.
This is one of the most eagerly-anticipated events of the season and there are now fewer than 100 tickets remaining on sale from the Tigers ticket office.
Tickets are £40 for season ticket holders, £50 for all other supporters, including a three-course dinner, seasonal highlights, interviews with coaches and players throughout the evening, and the award presentations. Dress code is smart. You might even win the opportunity to hand over an award to one of your Tigers favourites.
A shortlist of nominations has been prepared in each category – Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and also the Outstanding Service Award.
Anthony Allen, Dan Cole, Niall Morris, Geoff Parling, Julian Salvi and Tom Youngs are the names on the shortlist for the Supporters’ Player of the Year Award, hoping to pick up a trophy won by Thomas Waldrom and Horacio Agulla in the last two seasons.
The Young Player category is open to players aged under 23 at the start of the season and they’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of recent winners Steve Mafi and Manu Tuilagi, while there are three names nominated for the Newcomer Award.
Geordan Murphy, Julian White and George Chuter are among the most recent recipients of the Outstanding Service award and this year the shortlist is dominated by members of the forward pack with nominations for props Marcos Ayerza and Martin Castrogiovanni, and long-serving second-rower Louis Deacon.
Details of how you can play a part by casting your vote will be announced later this week through the Leicester Tigers official club website and social media channels.
Voting for the Try of the Season takes place at the Awards Night event and the shortlist will be revealed soon.
