Legendary matchday lined up for this Sunday

We're turning back the clock at Welford Road this Sunday for the Legends match in aid of Louis Deacon's benefit year and the Matt Hampson Foundation. Kick-off is at 3pm and tickets are still available.

Around 13,500 tickets have been sold so far in the Caterpillar Stand and the Holland & Barrett Stand seats and terrace.

Tickets will be available right up to kick-off, though supporters are encouraged to book as early as possible this week and pick up on the day from the collection point outside the ticket office at Welford Road.

Book now in person at the Tigers ticket office or phone 0844 856 1880. He office is open 8.30am-5pm weekdays, until 8pm Wednesdays and 9am-5pm Saturday as well as on matchday. Or book online.

Match tickets are just £10 adults, £5 children and OAPs. Family tickets, for two adults and two children, are £20.

Please note this match is not included in Tigers season tickets. All supporters require a match ticket to gain admission.

Iconic captain Martin Johnson leads the names in Louis Deacon’s Tigers squad which includes the ‘ABC Club’ of Graham Rowntree, Richard Cockerill and Darren Garforth, plus Julian White, Tim Stimpson, Leon Lloyd, Peter Short, Jeremy Staunton, Ollie Smith, Glenn Gelderbloom, Harry Ellis, Freddie Tuilagi, Aadel Kardooni, Lewis Moody and Dean Richards.

The Tigers team will wear traditional-style lettered shirts for the occasion.

World Cup winner Jason Robinson leads the Matt Hampson International Legends XV squad which also features Josh Lewsey, Serge Betsen, Andy Gomarsall, Thinus Delport, Henry Paul, Epi Taione, Jerry Flannery, Nicky Little, Rob Henderson and Darren Morris.

Former international referee Tony Spreadbury will be in charge, with two former Tigers players running the line, while Matt Hampson, Louis Deacon, Shaun Edwards, John Wells, Dean Richards and Craig Newby are among the men directing operations from the dug-out area.

Turnstiles, bars and food kiosks will be open in the Caterpillar Stand and Holland & Barrett Stand. The bar in Final Whistle will be selling Tiger Green Bullet, a beer brewed specially by Everards for Louis Deacon’s benefit year.

The Junior Tigers Club will be open in the Final Whistle from 1.00-2.45pm with activities for young supportes and the Crusha Milkshake bar.

Replica legends shirts will be available from the merchandise stall in Final Whistle.

The Tigers Club Store is open all day and the ticket office will be open for match ticket sales for the club’s last home game of the regular league season on May 4 as well as 2013/14 season tickets.
