Premiership Rugby and broadcast partner talkSPORT are handing the power to select the annual Premiership Rugby Dream Team to supporters via Twitter.

The two organisations will carry out a public to select the fifteen best players from Aviva Premiership Rugby in the 2012-13 season.

talkSPORT will drive the conversation from its official Twitter account as well as through its presenters. The public can now vote to decide who the hooker should be.

Attention will then switch to the second rows (Thursday), flankers (Friday), No8 (Saturday), half-backs (Sunday), centres (Monday), wings (Tuesday) and full-back (Wednesday).

"We believe fans of Aviva Premiership Rugby should be the ones to select the talkSPORT Dream Team this year," said Paul Morgan Premiership Rugby's director of communications.

"Social media becomes more and more important each season and Twitter provides the perfect platform for a vote like this as it is accessible to everyone who has access to the internet.

"As the world's biggest sports radio station talkSPORT – an official partner of ours – is the perfect partner for this new initiative.

"We have decided to do it position by position so look out for your chance to vote."

Laura Wade, Group Business Director at talkSPORT, said: "Ahead of our live Aviva Premiership Rugby final commentary and our live and exclusive coverage of the British and Irish Lions Tour to Australia this summer, voting for the talkSPORT Dream Team is the perfect opportunity for us to generate rugby conversation with talkSPORT's presenters and listeners."

To vote for one of the players use the hashtag #rugbyXV.

Everyone voting will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on 25 May at Twickenham.

The talkSPORT Dream Team will be revealed at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Awards on 9 May at the London Hilton, Park Lane which will be broadcast live on talkSPORT.
