Young fans share spotlight at Twickenham

It's not just the team who will be representing Leicester Tigers at Twickenham on Saturday, with schools and clubs from the Tigers region sharing in the big day.

A number of events are scheduled for matchday involving young supporters who have earned a chance to share the Aviva Premiership Final afternoon.

Pupils from Mellor Primary School in Leicester are among the 140 children taking part in an MBNA Tackling Numbers Tag Rugby and another 140 children from a dozen schools – including Badgerbrook Primary School from Whetstone and Barford Junior School in Norfolk – will represent Tigers as part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme.

Players from Oakham RFC Under-11s and Wymondham RFC Under-12s are joining the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup ‘Parade of Champions’ at half-time after coming through the regional rounds of this grassroots competition.

And also please look out for the representatives of the Matt Hampson Foundation and Walk4Matt who will reach Twickenham at the end of their week-long trek from the Midlands.
