Good luck to Leicester's Lions tourists

Good luck to the six Leicester Tigers players named in the British & Irish Lions squad who fly out to start their tour.

Dan Cole, Geoff Parling, Manu Tuilagi, Ben Youngs, Tom Youngs and second-time tourist Tom Croft will represent Tigers on the tour to Australia after meeting up with their squad colleagues at the conclusion of Saturday’s Aviva Premiership Final.

They follow in the footsteps of 34 previous Leicester players to join a combined nations tour, starting with full-back John Jackett in 1908 and including the likes of Peter Wheeler, Paul Dodge, Clive Woodward, Dean Richards, Martin Johnson, Ben Kay, Lewis Moody and Geordan Murphy.

Head coach Warren Gatland has named a 37-strong party for a 10-match tour featuring three Tests against Australia and an opening match in Hong Kong on June 1.
