Join us for a Tigers Masterclass at Welford Road

Figure image
Boris Stankovich and Mathew Tait presented the opening Welford Road Masterclass today with emphasis on their 'unit skills'.

Tait, who has scored five tries in 20 starts for Tigers this season and been capped 38 times by England, including the 2007 World Cup Final, is working the backs all day at the home of the Leicester Tigers, while prop Stankovich is focusing focus on the work of the forwards, including the scrum and lineout, passing on the experience garnered in more than 70 Tigers appearances and spells in New Zealand and France.

Thursday's kicking session led by former fly-half Jeremy Staunton is already sold out, but the breakdown and contact skills session hosted by former Tigers and All Blacks man Craig Newby tomorrow (May 29) still has a few places available.

Welford Road Masterclasses are for players in U11s to U16s age groups and are an excellent opportunity to learn and develop position-specific skills, and the perfect way to develop your game during the half-term holiday.

Players attending a masterclass will receive a free junior ticket to an allocated first-team game at Welford Road next season as well as lunch on the day, a Rugby Camp T-shirt, a water bottle, a rugby ball and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.

Book online by clicking here or phone the Tigers ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2).

There is also a full programme of Tigers Rugby Camps during the summer throughout the Tigers region. More details are available by clicking here
