Castro makes Baa-baas bow

Martin Castrogiovanni will make his first appearance for the Barbarians against the British & Irish Lions in Hong Kong this weekend.

The 95-times capped Italian prop made his farewell appearance for Leicester Tigers in the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham on Saturday before joining up with the Barbarians for the trip.

The Baa-Baas provide the opening opposition for the Lions tour, with Castrogiovanni’s international colleague Sergio Parisse named as captain.

Former Tigers second-rower Marco Wentzel is also included in the line-up for Saturday’s match, with Jim Hamilton named among the replacements.
