The day featured 27 matches in more than eight hours of rugby action, plus attractions for supporters including bouncy castle, facepainting, the Tigers Maul, and live music from Bella Estrella and The Rockola’s, and live TV coverage of the British & Irish Lions match in Australia.
After the success of the previous years, the 2013 tournament featured seven debutant teams alongside some of those who have played in all three previous years.
The event also raised support for the Harborough District of MIND, the mental health charity.
Rugby legend Rory Underwood presented the trophies at the end of a full day’s play, with GForce winning the main tournament, debutants Informa claiming the Bowl and Hilton triumphant in the Plate.
Ian Smith, of the winning GForce team, was named player of the tournament.
