Former Leicester Tigers forward Ron Smith has died at the age of 86.
Leicester-born Smith attended Wyggeston Boys School and Sutton Bonnington Agricultural College, joining Tigers from Westleigh in 1949.

He made 190 first-team appearances for the club between 1949 and 1958, scoring 11 tries, as well as later becoming a stalwart of the Swifts team.
An England trialist in 1955, Smith also played for Leicestershire and had a spell at Northampton.
His funeral will take place at Tilton Parish Church on Tuesday, June 18.
