Three Tigers named in World Juniors Final

All three Leicester Tigers players in the England Under-20 squad are included in the matchday 23 for Sunday's World Junior Championships Final against Wales.

Tigers second-rower Tom Price comes into the forward pack in place of the injured Elliott Stooke, with club colleagues Harry Wells and Henry Purdy named among the replacements.

Head coach Nick Walshe said: “Wales are an excellent side, as they have shown throughout this competition, and we’re fully aware that it’s going to be a tough game. We did well in the Six Nations to win at their place, but that game will have no bearing on the result.

“We have prepared well, we have recovered well after the New Zealand game and we’re ready for the final.”

The meeting is the first all northern hemisphere final in JWC history.

The IRB Junior World Championship Final in Vannes, France, is a 7.45pm kick-off (UK time) on Sunday and is shown live by Sky Sports 2.
