Tigers test their cricket skills for charity

Some of the Leicester Tigers players will take a break from pre-season training to take up bat and pad in a charity cricket match this Friday (June 28).

Scott Hamilton is leading a group of Tigers in a match against a team of jockeys at Kenilworth Cricket Club with proceeds going to The Injured Jockeys Fund and Warwickshire Wooden Spoon charities.

Rob Hawkins, Julian Salvi, Joe Cain, Ryan Bower and summer signings Ryan Lamb and Jamie Gibson are joining Hamilton in the Rugby Players XI.

The 20-over match begins at 6pm. Admission is free. Kenilworth Cricket Club is in Warwick Road, Kenilworth.
