Tigers open JP Morgan 7s finals v Worcester

Leicester Tigers will kick-off the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s finals night against Midlands rivals Worcester Warriors.

Tigers qualified for Friday’s finals at the Recreation Ground in Bath as runners-up in Group 2 while Worcester were winners of Group 1.

The Warriors will be captained by former Tigers back-rower Richard de Carpentier and give a debut to Cameron Goodhue, a summer signing from Auckland Blues. Click here for the Tigers squad.

The game is the opening fixture of the evening and starts at 7pm. The action is live on BT Sport.

Tigers then face Harlequins in their second game of the evening. Quins, who won Group 3 to qualify for the finals, include former Tigers Academy player Charlie Walker in their squad.

Quins and Worcester then play each other to complete the group fixtures. The winners of the pool will play the winners of the pool containing Gloucester Rugby, Newcastle Falcons and Saracens in the final.

The final is due to begin at 9.40pm.
