Leicester Tigers players will pull on their pads for a fund-raising T20 cricket match at Grace Road.

A Tigers XI will take on a combined Matt Hampson Foundation and Lord’s Taverners XI at the home of Leicestershire County Cricket Club on Sunday, September 1.

The Tigers team is set to include Tigers stars Toby Flood, Tom Croft and Manu Tuilagi as well as Ryan Lamb, Jamie Gibson and Scott Hamilton.

Former Leicestershire and England wicketkeeper Paul Nixon will captain the Matt Hampson Foundation and Lord’s Taverners XI. It is set to feature former Tigers favourites Harry Ellis and Austin Healey.

Raising money for the Matt Hampson Foundation and the Lord’s Taverners, it promises to be a great day for the whole family. The game is due to begin at 2pm.

The day starts at 10am with an under-10s Kwik Cricket competition with BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew set to present the prizes.

Tickets are £10 adults and free for under-16s. Simply pay on the day or click here to book your tickets.
