The final Tigers Rugby Camps of the summer holidays are under way at Leamington RFC and Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
Matt Smith was due to drop in at Guernsey today (Wednesday) to take part in a Q&A and talk about life at Tigers, while Niall Morris and Brett Deacon are due to join more than 120 young players at the sold-out camp at Leamington.
Tigers are already taking bookings for the Rugby Camps during the October half-term. As well as autumn camps at the British School in the Netherlands and Leicester Forest RFC (October 21-25), we've also added new Rugby Camps dates at Chesterfield RUFC and Wymondham RFC in Norfolk, running from October 28 to November 1. Wymondham will host a three-day tag rugby camp for under-sevens to under-eights.
Coaching is provided by the Tigers community coaching team alongside some top senior Academy coaches and players past and present, including former captain and coach Ian 'Dosser' Smith, Troy Thacker and two-time Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom.
The camps run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme. Each player will also receive a match ticket to an allocated home game, a hot lunch, a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.
