Red Arrows to fly-past Tigers in the Park

Leicester Tigers are set to be welcomed back into Aviva Premiership action this Sunday with a fly past by the world famous Red Arrows.

The RAF Aerobatic Team are scheduled to fly over Welford Road at 1.30pm on Sunday (weather permitting) as part of the Tigers in the Park event to celebrate the start of the new campaign.

Tigers in the Park is based in Nelson Mandela Park opposite the stadium, with lots of attractions and activities in the build-up to kick-off at 2pm. Entry is free.

Ultm8 Warrior are running a free obstacle course challenge for kids with prizes to be won for the best times (see YouTube clip here) and fans will be able to see some of the work of the Tigers cartoonist at his stand.

The acoustic sounds of Chris Armson have been added to the main stage line-up alongside headliners Funk Soul Brother and The Atlantics.

Other attractions include a fun zone with jungle agility run and bungee run inflatable. Test your rugby skills on the sports zone, try your hand at the circus workshop or win VIP tickets to The O2 with StubHub, the Tigers official marketplace, by taking on the Speed Pass Challenge.

This game, and all regular season games in the Aviva Premiership and pool games in the Heineken Cup and LV= Cup, is included in a Tigers season ticket.
