Leicester Tigers shared matchday with representatives of the club's three Official Charity Partners for the opening game of the season on Sunday.

The official charities this season are the Matt Hampson Foundation, Scotty’s Little Soldiers and the Royal Air Forces Association.

At half-time in the Aviva Premiership match against Worcester Warriors at Welford Road, the club welcomed their charity partners for 2013/14 on to the pitch for a photograph and to be presented to the supporters.

Tigers legend Rory Underwood joined Barry and Mary Smart and Roy Rudham from the Royal Air Forces Association; Roy Jackson represented the Matt Hampson Foundation; and Nikki Scott from Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Members of Syston’s Air Training Corps conducted a matchday collection on behalf of the Royal Air Forces Association on Saturday. Thank you to all supporters for their generosity on the day.

As well as the benefits to our charity partners, we make available 100 pairs of tickets to two designated 'charity fixtures' to be used by fund-raisers to generate revenues. Applications for these tickets should be made in writing to [email protected] or on headed letter paper to Charity Appeal, Leicester Tigers, Aylestone Road, Leicester LE2 7TR.
