The new season’s Try Tuesdays programme of supporters’ events kicks-off with a comedy night, in conjunction with Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival, on Tuesday, November 19.
The evening will feature Joey Page, Andrew Ryan and Leicester-born Matt Hollins, and will be compered by Adnan Ahmed.
Page has supported the likes of Josie Long and Noel Fielding and has appeared on shows such as Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy and BBC 3’s Comedy Marathon.
Ryan took his debut solo show 'RYANOPOLY' around the country performing 40 shows including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.
And Hollins joined the likes of Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford and Rhod Gilbert in winning the highly-respected Leicester Mercury’s Comedian of the Year award in 2004.
Held in the new Try Line Club in the Goldsmiths Stand at Welford Road, it promises to be an evening of top-class comedy. Tickets are priced £8, doors and the bar open at 6.30pm and there is a free pint for people arriving before 7.15pm.
