The De Montfort University Freshers' Week kicked off with a bang as the Leicester Tigers roadshow team brought the Aviva Premiership trophy on to campus.
Members of the DMU men’s and women’s rugby teams had the chance to get their hands on the trophy as they posed for photos with vice-chancellor Dominic Shellard.

New and returning students also had their picture taken with the trophy at The Maul, the Tigers’ roadshow vehicle.
Tigers have close links with DMU, offering students and staff the opportunity to get discounted tickets for all Welford Road home games during the season. Tigers also provided physio and conditioning for the university’s Varsity teams in March, while DMU student Lucas Guillaume is a member of the Leicester development squad.
