The sun is shining in Belfast today as Leicester Tigers prepare to kick-off their European campaign against Ulster Rugby.

Ravenhill stages its 53rd Heineken Cup fixture when the 1999 winners Ulster host Tigers, the two-time winners. The Pool 5 match is a 14,000 sell-out.

The majority of Tigers fans were travelling to Belfast on matchday, heading out on flights from East Midlands, Birmingham and Manchester airports. The Away Supporters’ Club were travelling by coach and ferry via Dublin.

Supporters arrived in the city to be greeted by bright sunshine and maximum daytime temperatures of around 13C. The forecast for the match is a dry night with temperatures of around 12C.
