Tigers are running camps during the February half-term at Ashby RFC and Oakham RFC and we’ll be welcoming members of the squad as well.
Ashby and Oakham will host a five-day camp from February 17 to 21 for those playing contact rugby in the U9s to U14s age groups. The clubs will also host three half-day tag camps for U7s and U8s running from February 17 to 19.
Jamie Gibson and Owen Williams are due to drop in at the Ashby camp for a Q&A and to pass on their tips while Neil Briggs and David Mele are set to visit the Oakham camp.
Tigers Rugby Camps are supported by energy efficiency experts Mark Group and provide players the opportunity to experience top-quality coaching in a professional environment.
Coaching is provided by the Tigers community coaching team alongside some top senior Academy coaches and players past and present, including former captain and coach Ian 'Dosser' Smith, Troy Thacker and two-time Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom.
The camps run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme. Each player will also receive a match ticket to an allocated home game, a hot lunch (unless otherwise specified), a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.
