The biggest-ever season of Try Tuesdays supporter events continues next month with a night of stand-up comedy.

Rob Rouse will headline the second Try Tuesdays Try Comedy Night at Welford Road on Tuesday, March 18.

Rouse has starred in Channel 4's 8 out of 10 cats, Celebrity Juice on ITV2 and The Friday Night Project on Channel 4. His radio credits include The 99p Challenge and Sean Lock's 15 Storey High on BBC Radio 4.

In conjunction with Dave's Comedy Festival, the evening will feature Rouse supported by Chris Stokes and Ahir Shah with Lloyd Griffith the compere.

It will be held in the new Try Line Club in the Goldsmiths Stand at Welford Road, it promises to be an evening of top-class comedy. Tickets are priced £8, doors and the bar open at 6.30pm and there is a free pint of Everards Tiger, the official beer of the Leicester Tigers, for people arriving before 7.15pm.

Try Tuesdays events then hit the road for Afternoon Tea with John Lewis, our first event away from Welford Road.

Hosted by the John Lewis store in Leicester’s Highcross shopping centre, the event on Tuesday April 1 (3.30pm to 5.30pm) includes a choice of hot drink, a delicious platter of finger sandwiches, a selection of sweets and cakes, the chance to meet members of the Tigers squad, cake decorating workshop and a John Lewis goodie bag.

The Try Tuesdays programme ends with the annual Awards Night on Tuesday, April 29.

More than 500 supporters joined the playing squad and coaches in the Premiership Suite last season for the end of season awards dinner, with Julian Salvi crowned fans' Player of the Year.

Tickets for this year's event are £45 season ticket holders and members, and £55 for non-season ticket holders.
