Almost 12,000 Leicester Tigers supporters have already bought season tickets for 2014/15 with more than two months of the current campaign still to run.

The best-supported club in British rugby, Tigers season ticket sales hit a record figure of just under 15,000 this year and are delighted to have such a large number of supporters already committed for another campaign.

Tigers are chasing a strong finish to the Aviva Premiership Rugby season and are also in the last eight of Europe’s Heineken Cup as the campaign reaches its last two months.

Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen said: “To have nearly 12,000 supporters already committed to season ticket sales for next season at this stage says an enormous amount about the club, the loyalty of supporters and the Welford Road matchday experience, especially with the uncertainty that has surrounded European rugby over the last 12 months.

“The strength of support for Leicester Tigers is well known throughout rugby and season ticket figures illustrate the levels of loyalty and commitment of support for the team.

“All the revenues we generate as a business go towards resourcing and supporting the playing squad on the field which means every single supporter plays a part in the achievements of the team.”

Current season ticket holders have until June 4 to book their existing places before being released for general sales. With season ticket sales in high demand in all areas of the stadium, any supporters seeking seats for 2014/15 are urged to book now with an option to move to any released seats after June 4.

Waiting lists are also open now for the XV Club and Tryline Club in the Goldsmiths Stand which are currently full.

Tigers season tickets include admission to all home games in the regular league season and pool rounds of cup competitions, plus the pre-season fixture, with the equivalent of five games free when compared with matchday ticket prices. There are other benefits too, including priority booking for away games and any knockout fixtures, Tigers Club Store discounts every time you shop, and the convenience of knowing your place is guaranteed every week throughout the season.

Interest-free and fee-free Direct Debit is available to help spread the cost.

There are price categories for adults, over-65s, young adults & full-time students, juniors and families. Season tickets for under-10s are free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
