The try was Goneva's eighth for Tigers away from home in the league this season and took him top of the Aviva Premiership’s scoring charts, one ahead of Saracens wing David Strettle.

Goneva won the Try of the Week in Round 13 for his score at Worcester and made it a second successive win for Tigers after manu Tuilagi's score against Wasps topped the voting in Round 19.
