Team news: Tigers away to Sale Sharks

International forwards Geoff Parling and Tom Youngs return to the Leicester Tigers team for Saturday's Aviva Premiership Round 21 fixture against Sale Sharks.

Parling makes a first starting appearance since his recovery from long-term injury, while Youngs resumes his place in the front row after sitting out the match against Harlequins in the last round.

Niall Morris reclaims a place in the backline and Owen Williams is included at fly-half in the other changes to the starting line-up for the trip to the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford.

Scrum-half Ben Youngs makes his 100th Premiership appearance since his competition debut in the 2006/07 season.

Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: “We have still got a semi-final spot to aim for and we were a bit disappointed with how we played at Quins in the last round.

“Sale Sharks have been doing well and are also potentially still looking at the top four in the table. It’s going to be a tight battle for those places with just two rounds to play.”

Tigers will wear the white alternate kit at Sharks.

Saturday’s game is scheduled for live coverage on BT Sport.

The last match of the regular league season is against Saracens at Welford Road on Saturday, May 10 (3.15pm). Tickets for this fixture have already sold out. Final matchday hospitality places are available by contacting the Corporate Sales team, phone 0116 2171 215.
