Williams and Ma'afu cited after semi-final

Owen Williams and Silesi Ma'afu will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel after charges were brought following the Aviva Premiership semi-final at Franklin's Gardens.

Northampton Saints prop Ma'afu is charged with striking an opponent contrary to Law 10.4.A. He was sent off by referee JP Doyle for striking Tigers hooker Tom Youngs in the 57th minute.
 
Leicester fly-half Williams will appear before the same panel having been cited by the citing commissioner, Buster White, for acts contrary to good sportsmanship/making contact with the eye(s) or eye area of Saints centre Luther Burrell, contrary to Law 10.4.M, in the 64th minute of the same match.
 
Both players will appear before a three-person RFU Discipline panel chaired by Christopher Quinlan QC at the Bristol Holiday Inn on Tuesday (May 20).
