Leicester Tigers are taking their Coach Education programme on the road with a FREE injury prevention and rehabilitation session.
Julie Hayton, Tigers head of medicine and rehabilitation, will be joined by community rehabilitator Steven Baker, who heads up the first aid functions at Tigers’ 50 Rugby Camps across the UK and the world.
Supported by Mueller Sports Medicine and FirstAid4Sport, the session at Newark RFC on Thursday, June 26 (6pm) is entitled Injury prevention and rehabilitation in the elite and club environment.
This is the first of Tigers' Coach Education programme to be held away from Welford Road. The event is FREE to attend. Click here to register your club and attendees. Places are limited.
Hayton will provide a talk as well as demonstrations of strapping, while Baker will discuss how he deals with the injuries clubs see every week with adults, minis and juniors players.
Mueller and FirstAid4Sport will be on hand to talk about clubs’ medical requirements.
The aim of the Tigers Coach Education programme is to help coaches in the development of their players and teams at any level, including seniors, by taking the successful programmes from the Tigers Academy back to the clubs.
