George Chuter will be part of the coaching team at Leicestershire's first Tigers Rugby Camp of the summer at Coalville RFC (July 14-18).

The Coalville Rugby Camp will be Chuter’s first as a coach since retiring from top-class rugby last season after 292 first-team games in 13 seasons with Tigers.

He will be joined by internationals Dan Cole and Gonzalo Camacho, who will visit the camp to take part in a Q&A.

Chuter was the first man to make 250 Premiership Rugby appearances and won 24 caps for England, including playing in the 2007 World Cup Final.

He will pass on some of his vast expertise during the five-day camp, which is supported by energy efficiency experts Mark Group. There is a tag rugby camp (July 14-16) for younger players.

The summer programme kicks off on Monday (June 30) with a first visit to Scotland. The GHA Rugby Club in Glasgow will host the Tigers for five full days of coaching for young players aged up to 16 plus a tag rugby camp.

Loretto School in Musselburgh, East Lothian, acts as host the following week (July 7-11) and will also have a tag rugby camp for younger players over three half-days.

The club's community and Academy coaches are also running camps right across the Tigers region, including in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire and in the Channel Islands at Guernsey and Jersey rugby clubs.
