Leicester Tigers helped Chris and Leanne Hammond create unforgettable memories on their wedding day when the couple tied the knot at Welford Road.
Leanne described their wedding day as amazing after marrying Tigers fan Chris in a civil service in the European Suite.
The couple, of South Wigston, posed for their precious wedding photos, with their families and friends, on the pitch, in the dugout and in the changing rooms.
And they even had their pictures taken with the Heineken Cup trophy that Tigers lifted after victory over Stade Francais in Paris in 2001, an occasion that Chris and his family attended in their support of the club.
“It was amazing,” said Leanne, after the couple returned from their honeymoon in the Caribbean. “Tigers did a great job – it couldn’t have gone any better.
“That cup meant a lot to him and his family because they were there in Paris when Tigers won it. They were able to have their photo with it.
“Chris got to go into the changing rooms for some of the photos, and that really made his day.
“I’ve not been to Tigers a game but I will have to start watching now!” she added.
