Three Leicester Tigers Academy players have been named in the England Under-18s squad for the two-week summer tour to South Africa in August.
Forwards Owen Hills, Joe Maksymiw and Charlie Beckett have been selected in a 26-strong group to face Wales, France and South Africa across the Western Cape.
Coach John Fletcher said: “We’re looking forward to heading out there – it’s a significant part of our programme, and playing these three countries will be a huge challenge.
“Playing South Africa in their own back yard is one of the toughest things you can do in rugby, but it’s something we’re looking forward to.
“The vast majority of the Under 20s who have won back-to-back World Cups toured the southern hemisphere with the Under 18s, so it definitely stands them in good stead.”
