Leicester Tigers will face Cardiff Blues in the opening game of the Premiership Rugby 7s Series Final at Twickenham Stoop on Friday.
Tigers secured a qualifying place for a second successive year from the Group D qualifier at Darlington last weekend and now provide an intriguing Anglo-Welsh curtain-raiser for finals night.
Tigers against the Blues is a 6pm kick-off on an evening of 10 matches culminating in the final at 9.45pm. Live coverage is provided on BT Sport.
Last year’s winners Gloucester Rugby face Northampton Saints, home side Harlequins face London Irish and the first set of matches is completed by Newport Gwent Dragons against Newcastle Falcons.
"With the excitement of the Commonwealth Games and the Rio Olympics on the horizon, Sevens has really caught people's imagination this summer," said Phil Winstanley, rugby director at Premiership Rugby.
"Crowds have been high for the Premiership Rugby 7s with over 35,000 people enjoying the group stages and we are expecting to establish a record attendance across the series.
"The addition of the Welsh Regions for the first time creates an added ingredient for this eagerly-anticipated event."
