A new season of top-flight rugby begins at the home of the Leicester Tigers this Saturday and match tickets are available now.
Tigers face Newcastle Falcons in the opening round of the Aviva Premiership at Welford Road and to mark the occasion the club also hosts Tigers In The Park, a free community event with entertainment for the whole family.
Tigers In The Park – featuring live music, mini farm, mini quad bikes, rugby skills challenges, the StubHub lucky turnstile, BMX champion Matti Hemmings and attractions for younger supporters – starts at 10am in Nelson Mandela Park and the plaza at Welford Road, with kick-off against the Falcons at 3pm.
Tigers crowds averaged more than 22,000 during last season and the team will be hoping to run out in front of another bumper attendance for the opening weekend of the 2014/15 campaign.
