Tigers In The Park comes to Welford Road on Saturday - and not just at Nelson Mandela Park but outside the stadium too.

The plaza outside main reception is hosting a number of events as part of Tigers In The Park, including BMX performer Matti Hemmings who is running free workshops and demonstrations, and Ride Leicester with their bike fix service and advice station as well as their bike park and Watt Bike Challenge.

Popular band Rock Bottom are joining us on the plaza to add the party atmosphere from 1pm.

The Tigers Wheel Chair Rugby Team will be here with demonstrations and providing supporters with a chance to take try wheelchair rugby.

There will also be table tennis on the plaza.

There are lots of activities too on Nelson Mandela Park from 10am, including the StubHub lucky turnstile with a top prize of a pair of tickets for the O2, a Tigers Rugby Camp place as top prize in the Mark Group Kicking Challenge and NEXT are providing vouchers of up to £100 as prizes in the Junior Tigers Club’s Speed Pass Challenge.

STIHL are hosting a tackle bag game and Everards are running a rugby-themed coconut shy with the chance to win some Everards goodies. And they’re selling minikegs which will be available to collect after the match.

Spire Hospital are running cycling skills on a static bike and colouring competition for young supporters, as well as providing information on their services.

There’s also live music from Stonepark, The Fallers, Chris Armson and The Zufflers, plus mini quad bikes, mobile farm, birds of prey display, plus inflatables, facepainting and activities for younger supporters.

Entry to Tigers In The Park is free.
