Saturday, September 6 saw the first JTC of the new 2014/15 season. With the Tigers 36-17 victory over Newcastle Falcons, and a packed Tigers in the Park event, our opening day was a fantastic start to the season!
The Tigers in the Park event was a roaring success making it our biggest ever celebration on Nelson Mandela Park ever! Tigers fans made the most of the free activities that were on offer including racing quad bikes, taking on the jungle agility and Ultim8 Warrior obstacle courses, enjoying the inflatables, mini farm, and the Tigers Big Boot which was fired by Tigers new signing Lawrence Pearce. Tigers in the Park kicked off at 10am, and I roamed the park and boogied to the live music until kick-off at 3pm. If you were there, I hope you had an awesome day, but If you missed it, make sure you save the date for next year as you were sorely missed! The JTC Area was also busy with Junior Tigers, hungry for the start of the new season and we were joined by Tigers players Harry Thacker and George Tressider.
