Macmillan Coffee Morning at Tigers

Figure image
The cakes have arrived! Come down to Welford Road today (Friday) and help support the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, organised by Macmillan Cancer Support.

While the players go through their final preparations ahead of tomorrow’s home match against London Irish, supporters are invited to enjoy refreshments and cake in Final Whistle in the MET-Rx Stand.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning is open from 9.30am until 3pm so bring your family and friends, enjoy a short break from work or your shopping, and show your support for a great cause.

We’re also looking forward to seeing the players at around 11.30am following their team run.

Some of the cakes have been baked and donated by Fiona Cairns, who made the cake for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Fiona said: "Macmillan does the most extraordinary work, and we are always delighted to support it in any way we can to raise awareness and much-needed funds. For us this is usually by baking a few batches of cakes!"

Entry is priced at £5, which includes a slice of cake and a hot drink. The ticket price will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fans unable to attend the coffee morning can show support by donating to Macmillan Cancer Support's #Tigersfamily Just Giving Page by clicking here.

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. The charity asks people across the UK - and sometimes further afield - to hold a coffee morning, where donations are made to Macmillan. Click here for more information on the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
