Jordan Crane is encouraging supporters to join forces with Leicester Tigers players this Movember.

Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces in the UK and around the world during November. The aim is to raise funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Crane captains the Tigers Movember team again as they do their bit for men's health by grooming their way to a moustache during November. He is being joined by David Mele, George Catchpole and Tom Price.

Our friends at STIHL, official partners of Tigers, are also taking part in Movember. STIHL and their dealers have already raised more than £1,000, and called on the services of Tigers head groundsman Steve Packwood to make a fun Movember video, which you can view by clicking here.

Crane said: “I’ve been Movember captain the last few years, just getting as many people involved as possible – we raised more than £1000 last year, so hopefully we can get everyone involved again and do the same as this year.

“We’d love to have Tigers fans involved and make it a team thing.

“It’s a great bit of banter and it’s good to have a laugh. We normally get about ten or 15 guys doing it, so you don’t look stupid by yourself!

“My tache isn’t too bad – it’s not the worse but it’s not the best, that’s for sure.

“I think Movember is great – I’ve done it for the last four years and to see the way it has grown is great.

“It’s a really good cause and a great way to raise awareness of prostate cancer – the more people we can get involved and the bigger it can get then the better it is.

“We’ll have a big push and whatever we raise will be going to a good cause.”
