Leicester Tigers fans are starting to make the journey to the south of France for Saturday's European Rugby Champions Cup Round 4 game with Toulon.

Tigers take on defending European champions Toulon, the current Top 14 champions and league leaders, in a Pool 3 clash at Stade Mayol on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 4.15pm local time/3.15pm UK time).

Supporters are flying out of a number of airports including East Midlands and Stansted, while the Tigers Supporters Club trip is due to leave Welford Road at 2am on Friday heading for the Eurostar crossing.

The two teams are due to be named at lunchtime on Friday. Toulon, who boast some of the biggest names in world rugby in their squad, including World Cup winners Bakkies Botha, Bryan Habana and Juan Smith, could welcome back Australia international James O’Connor, while Tigers could name a side close to the one that secured a hard-fought 25-21 victory at Welford Road in Round 3.

Toulon are undefeated at home in Europe’s premier club competition having won all 11 previous fixtures. Tigers will run out at the 15,000-capacity ground in their traditional green home kit.

The current forecast for Saturday is for early-morning rain to clear by the afternoon and be replaced by light cloud, light winds and 16C at kick-off at 4.15pm.

The game is live on BT Sport and BBC Radio Leicester on DAB and online (UK only). There will also be live coverage on BBC 5Live Sports Extra.

Tigers will be keeping fans up-to-date with the build-up, the action and the reaction from Toulon on the Tigers club website, on the @LeicesterTigers Twitter feed, the Official Leicester Tigers Facebook page and Instagram. Follow us now on Twitter, like us on Facebook and join us on Instagram.
