Leicester Tigers season ticket sales have hit a record-breaking figure of more than 15,000.Including Season Ticket Tasters, Tigers have a total of 15,230 season tickets for 2014/15. Holders also receive priority status in booking for away games and any knockout matches, the opportunity to apply for England international tickets, and Tigers Store discounts as well as other benefits.   Announcing the record figure, Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen said: “Season ticket sales are central to what we do as a club and in the backing we provide for the playing squad.   “We don’t have an outright owner or limitless budgets, we work around the revenues we generate, so the level of support is vital and every single season ticket holder plays their part in the club’s operations and the support of the team management and players.   “To have more than 15,000 people committed to season tickets is a massive statement of their support and of the stature of the club as a whole.   “Also, that support gives us the confidence to pursue our development plans for Welford Road stadium, with the proposals for a new stand at the Clubhouse End this summer taking capacity up to 26,000 as well as our continued commitment to improve facilities and the matchday experience for all visitors.   “With the new European competitions, new broadcast deals and a home World Cup later this year, this is an exciting time for rugby in England and, as always, we want to see Leicester Tigers at the forefront of the game.”   Season ticket sales and renewals for 2015/16 are now available from the Tigers ticket office.   A Direct Debit option is available to spread the payments.   If you want to know more about Tigers season tickets, or want to check availability in any area of the stadium, contact the Tigers ticket office now.
