Leicester Tigers favourite George Chuter is going on stage in support of one of the club charities next weekend.BBC Radio Leicester and the charity group Applause are organising a musical evening at St James The Greater Church on London Road, Leicester, next Saturday (February 7), bringing together a number of Leicestershire's public figures to celebrate the best of British comedy songs from stage and screen.   The fund-raising evening in aid of The Joe Humphries Memorial Trust, a club charity this season and a cause supported by former skipper Martin Johnson as patron.   Former Tigers and England hooker Chuter is singing ‘Ernie, the Fastest Milkman in the West’ which was a No1 hit for Benny Hill in the 1970s.   He will be introduced on to stage by club captain Ed Slater.   Chief Constable Simon Cole, also a big Tigers fan, is another solo performer.   Applause chairman Dave Andrews said: “This will be an opportunity to hear some of the best-known figures in Leicestershire as you’ve never heard them before.
