Bell shortlisted for LV Breakthrough Award

Tommy Bell has been nominated for the LV= Breakthrough Player Award for his performance for Leicester Tigers' LV= Cup win against Cardiff Blues.Bell scored the fourth and bonus-point try as Tigers secured a home semi-final in the LV= Cup with a 43-9 victory at Cardiff Arms Park.   The Leicester Tigers full-back made 14 carries, gained 135m and beat five defenders against Cardiff, as well as scoring his first Tigers’ try.   He is one of 10 players shortlisted for the award, and voting is now open. Click here to place your vote.    Launched in 2012, the LV= Breakthrough Player Award celebrates and recognises those young players who have stood out in the tournament with previous winners including Jack Nowell, Jonny May and Ollie Devoto. The LV= Breakthrough Player Award is designed to recognise the next generation of young players.
