The line-up for the final of the LV= Cup will be confirmed on Sunday as Leicester Tigers host Exeter Chiefs, while Saracens host Northampton Saints. Here's your guide to what happens on the day:In the event of a draw after 80 minutes In the event of a tie at full-time in the semi-finals or the final, the winner will be determined by reference to the following: (i) Extra time will be played (2 x 10-minute periods) and the club that scores the most points will be deemed the winner. (ii) If scores are tied after extra time, then the club that has scored the most tries in the match (including extra-time) will be deemed the winner. (iii) If the clubs have scored the same number of tries, then the winner will be determined by a place-kick competition.   Place-kick competition After extra-time, if scores remain equal and the number of tries scored is equal, then there will be a place-kick competition to determine the winner: Teams nominate three kickers each from the players on the pitch at the end of extra-time to participate in the place-kick competition. Each kicker will be allocated a number (1, 2, 3) and this designation cannot change. The first phase consists of six kicks from six positions as outlined below. Each kicker will take 2 kicks in the following order:-  Kicker 1 from each team will kick from a central position on the 22m line.  Kicker 2 from each team will kick from the junction of the 22m & 15m lines on the right.  Kicker 3 from each team will kick from the junction of the 22m & 15m lines on the left.  Kicker 1 from each team will kick from a central position on the 10m line.  Kicker 2 from each team will kick from the junction of the 10m and 15m line on the right.  Kicker 3 from each team will kick from junction of the 10m and 15m line on the left. If the teams are level at the end of the six-kick competition, there will be a ‘sudden death competition’. All kicks will take place from position 4 (central on the 10m line) and taken in the following order:- Kicker 1 from each team Kicker 2 from each team Kicker 3 from each team Kicks will continue in this order until each team has taken the same number of sudden-death kicks but one team has scored one more than the other.
