Figure image
Welford Road hosts the LV= Cup semi-final between Leicester Tigers and defending champions Exeter Chiefs this Sunday. Kick-off is at 1pm and tickets are available now.Turnstiles open from 11am on matchday, and there are activities on the plaza outside the MET-Rx Stand including The Tigers Maul – and the chance to film your ‘I Believe in Leicester Tigers’ message.   All bars and food kiosks are also open from 11am and this week we are introducing a sweets stall on the plaza. It will be there for all remaining home games this season.   After winning all four matches in the pool stages, Tigers progressed to the semi-finals as the top seeds in the LV= Cup, with Exeter Chiefs defending the title they won on home soil last season.   Book your place at the Tigers ticket office. The office is open 8.30am-5pm weekdays, 9am-5pm Saturday and from 9am on Sunday right up to kick-off. Call in or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2). Or book online any time by clicking here.   The Junior Tigers Club area of Final Whistle is open from 11am with activities for younger supporters and the chance to become a matchday mascot or Tigers cub. You could even win a prize in our special Mother’s Day card competition and receive it on the pitch at half-time in the big game! JTC membership is free and you can sign up at Welford Road or on the club website.   If this is your first Tigers matchday – or you are bringing someone new – there is a chance to win a great prize too. As part of the ‘My First Matchday’ you can sign up a first-time visitor by clicking here. Or speak to a Games Keeper at the stadium and you will go into a prize draw to win a bag of Tigers goodies.   First-time visitors can also pick up a My First Matchday certificate signed by club captain Ed Slater from Games Keepers who form part of the customer services team.   The Club Store is open all day with special offers on kit, leisurewear and souvenirs. There is a pop-up shop on the plaza and merchandise units inside the MET-Rx Stand after the turnstiles have opened.   This week’s matchday programme includes a review of the LV= Cup season so far, Matt Hampson’s Heroes & Villains column with Geordan Murphy, and all the news and views from inside Welford Road. The programme is on sale throughout the stadium, price £3.   Arriva’s special matchday bus services are in operation on five routes, from Market Bosworth, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Oakham and Nuneaton, and there is also a minibus service from Coalville. Click here for pick-up points, timetable and fare details.   After the match, resident band Rock Bottom will be providing live music in Final Whistle, and the main Club Store will be open until 5pm.   If you have pre-ordered any match tickets, please note that these will be at the Collection Point outside the MET-Rx Stand and not at the ticket office.   We look forward to seeing you!
