Sebastian de Chaves says the LV= Cup run has given Leicester Tigers plenty of momentum to carry into the run-in to the Aviva Premiership campaign.Tigers return to league action at Welford Roadon Saturday, March 28 (kick-off 3pm) when they host Exeter Chiefs in a repeat of Sunday’s  Anglo-Welsh cup semi-final.   And second rower de Chaves says there is a "good vibe" around the squad after the LV= Cup run.   “If you look back at some of the wins that we had, we fought for them and we worked for each other,” said de Chaves. “There’s a really good vibe in the squad. The LV= Cup has been a breeding ground for youngsters so credit to them for getting to a home semi-final.   “Yes, we’re disappointed that we lost but I think the energy, the heart and the work rate they put on that field for 80 minutes was outstanding. Some of the boys have put their hands up in a big way.”   De Chaves, who captained the team in the LV= Cup  pool stage win at Cardiff Blues, led out the team for the first time at Welford Road, describing it as a proud moment.   “It was a massive privilege,” said de Chaves, who is nominated for the Goldsmiths Player of the Month award alongside Sam Harrison and Adam Thompstone. “It’s a massive honour for me to captain such a good group of boys. On and off the field we’re a tight group, so to come to Welford Road and run out as captain is something very special. It is a real privilege and something that I’ll treasure.” Tickets for Tigers’ return to Aviva Premiership action against Exeter Chiefs at Welford Road on Saturday, March 28 are available now.
